Global Learning Programme Wales

Find support

Schools that register with the Global Learning Programme Wales can become part of a local and national network of like-minded schools that are working together to explore how global learning can be applied across the whole school.

Lead Schools can also draw on direct support from local and national international development organisations that the programme works with and host expert-led training sessions locally for their network. These Lead School Networks (LINK to separate doc with list of all Lead Schools supported till July 2018) have all been supported by GLP-W.

The following Lead School Networks are receiving funding to continue their work in 2017/2018:

  • Ysgol Gyfun Bro Myrddin, Carmarthenshire
  • Ysgol Gyfun Bodedern, Anglesey
  • Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni, Caerphilly
  • Ysgol Gynradd Esgob Morgan, Denbighshire
  • Millbrook Primary School, Newport

  • Welshpool High School, Powys
