Many schools in Wales have gained national quality marks and awards which have a significant focus on global learning. The Global Learning Programme Wales is designed to link with these awards, either as stepping stones into the GLP-W, or as recognition of progress from involvement with the GLP-W.

Geography Quality Mark Awards
The Primary and Secondary Geography Quality Marks are evaluation frameworks that have been adapted specifically for Welsh schools through GLP-W. For schools wishing to become a GLP-W Lead School, gaining these awards also provides evidence of embedded practice and impact in certain aspects of global learning.
