Depending on experience, expertise and confidence in global learning, schools in Wales can take part in the GLP-W as either a Network or a Lead School.
GLP-W Lead Schools have a particular expertise in delivering global learning, allied to a strong CPD capability. As well as exemplifying global learning in their own school, their main role is to be the hub for a network of schools, providing leadership and support to help other schools develop their approaches to global learning. Network Schools are at the heart of the Global Learning Programme Wales (GLP-W). They have joined the programme to help their pupils gain a better knowledge and understanding of international development and of their role in a globally-interdependent world.
