Written to Mark World Environment Day (5th June) and World Oceans Day (8th June), this new Key Stage 2-4 resource from GLP-W includes six cross-curricular activities investigating the sustainability of the oceans, including plastic pollution and coral reefs.
Oceans cover 70% of the Earth’s surface, and billions of people depend on oceans for their livelihood and food. But the oceans are under threat from pollution, overfishing and climate change. World Oceans Day is an opportunity to focus on Global Goal (SDG) 14: Life below Water with the Global Learning Programme Wales. This new cross-curricular resource includes six activities for Key Stage 2-4 investigating the sustainability of the oceans, particularly plastic pollution and coral reefs.
